August Dela Cruz, a free-lance Artist-photographer,   is currently a photo correspondent for the Philippine Post and was formerly with the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The Philippine Basketball Association in cooperation with Handford awarded him the first and third places of the conference's photography contest. He was also awarded the third place winner of a McDonald's PBA monthly contest.
